She studied lithography at Grupo 15, etching in the Taller Malasaña with Oscar Manesi, lithography again with Juan Pablo Villalpando at Brita Prinz, and additive techniques with Jordi Alcaraz. In addition she has participated symposia and cultural weeks in Spain and Germany, and given talks and short courses on etching techniques. She has her own studio for painting and printmaking at her home in a village on the outskirts of Madrid. Critics say that Gudrun´s work oscilates between realism and abstraction, with incursions into surrealism, always demonstrating fine workmanship and consumate drawing ability. In describing her work they use phrases like "silent music" and "painted poems." With more than 20 individual and 100 collective shows to her credit worldwide, Gudrun has a well-consolidated artistic career.
