Brief Biography
Hao Ping is one of the most outstanding representatives of Yunan Prints of China. His works subtly demonstrate the bitterness of philosophy, clarity and a kind of cool, open-minded, and profound treatment. His excavation in media expression can be considered as prominent in modern China. And his technique of streamline cutting and skill of sketching can hardly be surpassed. A specialist in the technique of Yunan's single plate, his work received the Gold Award of the 13th National Chinese Print Exhibition. Art galleries all over the world all strive for his works.

1952 Born in Yunan
1980 Graduated from the Department of Fine Art, Yunan Art College
1983 Won the "Prize for Excellent Works" at the 8th National Chinese Exhibition of Graphic Arts
1985 Granted Print World Prize
1986 Further studied at Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.
1989 Won the Copper Medal at the 7th National Chinese Art Exhibition.
1990 Committee member of the National Youth Print Grand Exhibition evaluation committee
1992 Invited by the Chinese Artists Association for the Committee Member at the11th National Exhibition of Graphic Arts. In March, 1992, he held a solo exhibition in USA
