The Printmaker Who Headed South Almonds, olives, the cultivated land and profiles of mountains are the main "figures" in David Kenning's landscapes. His watercolors are free and flowing and much of his subject matter inspired by the Spain he loves and where he now lives. He was a pupil of the English landscape painter Frederick Gore R.A. at St. Martin's School of Art, London from 1952 to 1955. His first screenprint, "Bar La Parada," was commissioned by the Coriander Press in 1987, and since that time he has built up a portfolio of Spanish and English screenprints.
