Since the late 60's I have worked on a dozen platforms including mainframes, mini's and personal computers. I began doing statistical analysis and programming and since the early 80's have made a total committment to the computer as an artmaking tool. What was initially viewed as an insane choice now appears to have been visionary. The computer is as universal and important as the wheel; a mega tool which is my primary creative medium, repository of vital information and link to ideas and people. The power and versatility of the computer will continue to demand growth and change. The opportunities it presents will challenge us, individually and collectively, to change the world. |
