in the USA Within six months of being discharged from the Army in 1968 he was on his way to Europe, determined to make his way there as a freelance journalist. In early 1969 he discovered Spain and has lived and made his career there ever since. Booth sold his first freelance travel article to the New York Times. He adopted Spanish nationality in 1984. A Spanish Lifetime New Projects Also new, since June 2008, is Print Workshop Central (http://printworkshopcentral.com) a services and resources site for fine-art print studios around the world. Booth lives with his painter and printmaker wife, Maureen (http://www.maureenbooth.com), in a village in the foothills of Sierra Nevada outside of Granada. They have three grown children and six grandchildren. |
