Arthur Nelander

Artist's Statement
According to Nelander, the building of fine art is an ongoing process of creating and solving problems. Nelander never considers his work 'finished', and not until the work leaves the studio does he feel released from his obligation to it.

"Fine art is about communicating truths," Nelander says. "The visual dialog created between the viewer and the artwork is the quintessential essence of fine art, and the viewer should actively participate in this didactic process."
