Artist's Statement
I work toward simplifying an image as much as possible without crossing the line into an uninteresting wilderness. Direct, expressive images by means of color and composition are where my efforts are directed.

Biography
Bobbi Crockett is an artist based in Honolulu, HI. She holds a degree in architecture from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Crockett has held a variety of positions within the art field, including Graphic Artist and Cartographic Draftsman for the Army Map Service, Graphic Artist for the National Geographic Society, Textile Artist in Honolulu, HI, and Co-Director of the Art Gallery at Hawai'i Loa College in Kane'ohe HI. Important collections include two works held by the Hawaii State Foundation on the Arts and Culture.
