Technique: Initially I froze the flower then scanned it on a flat bed scanner. After color manipulation in Photoshop, I printed the image on Somerset Velvet paper, then painted over the print with silver metallic acrylic ink, then registered and reprinted the image on top of this. I rescanned and layered this in Photoshop with the original, then repeated the entire process again. The final image is a composite created by laying all 3 and manipulating the final image until I achieved the effects I desired.
