Biography
Joan Pabst Dubanoski's interest in photography began as a child, when
she helped with developing, enlarging, and tinting processes in her father's
darkroom. After discovering the world of digital imaging, she has shown
her work in group and solo exhibitions in Hawai'i and on the US Mainland.
Her work has been selected for private collections in Hawai'i, on the
Mainland, and in Japan. Her current work is captured mainly by digital
camera and printed with archival pigment-based inks and archival papers
for bright, long-lasting images.
