Jim Egan

Artist's Statement
In his work, Jim seeks out an "idea" or concept. The execution of that concept seems to take on its own form as it is developed. This is where the computer is at its highest value - in allowing a natural evolution to occur simultaneously with conceptual development as opposed to rigidly rendering a preconceived visual. He believes that technique or media employed should serve the concept and never be allowed to overpower it.
