Robert Moon

Artist's Statement
Art is a journey of discovery; the expression of feelings understood or nebulous; of colors and shapes of the unknown; of the realistic; of the solid; of the amorphous. This is my journey and these are my images. I will leave the analysis of my art to the art critics and the art patrons, for part of the pleasure are in the discovery. And if I explain everything then part of the pleasure is lost to you the viewer. If these images stimulate your senses, then I have succeeded in pleasing someone other than myself and have made the process of art even more rewarding.

Biography
Robert Moon has been involved with art since his notable crayon and finger paint periods. After serving in the military, while studying business administration at the local community college, Robert "fell in with a bad crowd" and was again pulled away from the straight and narrow path and into the world of debauchery, known as art. It was a down hill trip, with Robert falling further and further into the morass of design, figure drawing, painting, pastels, charcoal and sculpture. In order to "feed his habit" he was forced to take "menial" jobs as a graphic designer, illustrator and technical illustrator.
