Biography
From the rigorous formal European course of studies at the Academies of
Arts of Bonn & Hamburg, Ute Kersting's skills were honed and her universe
expanded through seminars, workshops and master instructors in Toronto,
Texas, New Mexico and at the University of California at Los Angeles.
Her body of work has received numerous awards in juried shows, locally
and internationally. Always developing her horizon, she joined the Digital
Art Society of Hawai'i in 1997. Her creations have found homes in many
private and commercial collections. Ute's art brings the classical background
of Boticelli into the media of the future.
