Diana Jeon

Artist's Statement
My work has also been influenced by converging ideas about art, the media, and cultural theory. I am interested in the intersection of memory and experience; also with the use of symbolism. By working with digital tools that are more commonly used for commercial purposes, I repurpose them to create fine art. I prefer to allow my work to whisper rather than shout the secrets of its meaning. This allows the viewer to consider the piece further, providing an opportunity for re-evaluation of his/her personal paradigms vis-à-vis the message of the work.
